The porosity ranges from 30% to 50% with a thickness of 1.0–10 mm. The material features excellent permeability, uniform density and pore distribution, high temperature resistance, superior corrosion resistance and good regenerability. Complex-shaped products can be fabricated with a wide selection of materials including 316L, FeAl and high-temperature alloys.It boasts outstanding comprehensive properties: high mechanical strength, excellent temperature resistance, strong thermal shock resistance, controllable pore size, uniform and stable pores, easy machining and weldability.The pore size and porosity of porous stainless steel are mainly governed by powder particle size composition, forming method, sintering temperature and holding time. For conventional porous stainless steel, the pore size can be controlled within 1–100 μm, and porosity ranges from 18% to 46%.Integral seamless lengths from 150 mm to 2000 mm are available for customization.Wide range of applications:Catalyst recovery, high-temperature dust removal, pulverized coal conveying, food & beverage filtration, gas filtration, gas distribution and other fields.
